There's phishing - and then there's fishing - the old fashioned kind which is currently being practiced in the Bronx. The gear includes a plastic bottle covered with glue and string which is lowered into those corner mailboxes to "fish" out the mail you sent to your landlord or your utility bills after which the perpetrators cash the checks. In the age of cybercrime this practice ducks under the radar to the tune of 150 arrests in the Bronx alone. The caution is don't use the drop after the last pickup or on weekends. Just don't get reeled in!
