Now 140+ years later, if the sea isn't boiling it certainly is warming. Yesterday we read that the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has declined to create "floating platforms" for Pacific walruses that come ashore because they lack summer sea ice in a phenomenon attributed to climate change.
