Changing Times

There has been a transformation in the world of "retail" in that a customer is now called a "guest". With so many buying on line a store merchant values every person walking through the door. It seems the practice began with Disney when they opened Disneyland in 1955. I guess they will also expect us to behave like guests i.e. no littering or shoving in the checkout line.  In the old days in Havana every clothing store had a complimentary rum bar in the rear of the store. But I don't think that is what Walt Disney had in mind.
