Hold Your Horses

The old vaudevillian would toss out this riddle: "How do you get down from a horse?" Answer - You don't - you get down from a goose! But a certain unbeliever stole into a nearby farm and cut the mane and tail from a stabled horse. I could have told him that goose down would make a softer pillow. At last report, Mr. Scissorhands was still on the loose so keep that barn door locked. This was either a hair raising event or a harebrained adventure. You decide.
