Geriatrics

When the nurse entered the hospital room she found the elderly gent fully clothed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet.
She explained the hospital rules that all released patients must be escorted to the exit in a wheel chair. While he protested that he did not need such assistance she was insistent. Going down in the elevator she asked him if his wife was waiting outside. He replied "No, she is back in her room taking a shower."
